Dear Paskin,

38

My attention has been drawn to our letter of the

24th January under the above reference in reply to your

(36)

letter of the 14th January, 92634/32 about the proposal of

the Far Eastern Aviation Company to form a Flying Training

School at Hong Kong.

I hope you understood that our concurrence

extended only to the request of the Company to undertake

the training of aliens including Chinese and did not imply

that we had withdrawn our objection to their using the

aerodrome at Kai Tak for the purpose.

I have little doubt that you so understood our

letter but this is by way of putting the matter beyond

doubt.

J.J. Paskin Esq. M.C.,

Colonial Office,

Downing Street,

S.W.1.

Yours sincerely,
